As part of the ongoing Erasmus+ TrainingCourse4Peace project that took place in the City of Bucharest (Romania) and managed by ENPP, Helena Chora and Nelson Sabarigo who participated in that project, organized a post event international mobility in the village of Alcáçovas (Portugal) – a Peddy Paper under the theme “Alcáçovas, a Village with History”, an engaging activity designed to explore the rich cultural heritage of this Portuguese village while promoting teamwork, active citizenship, and the values of peace.
The programme began with a warm welcome at the Parish Council of Alcáçovas, where participants were introduced to the history and identity of the village. Special attention was given to the legacy of Dr. Adriano Trigo de Sousa, whose dedication to the local community continues to be remembered with great respect.
Throughout the Peddy Paper, participants discovered important landmarks, learned about the historical significance of Alcáçovas, and worked together to complete a series of interactive challenges. The activity encouraged intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and a deeper appreciation of local heritage as an essential element of building a shared culture of peace.
