The City of Zadar, Croatia celebrated again its Treaty of Peace of 1358, on 17 February, under the aegis of the ENPP.
Like in previous years, the Commemorations were centered on the St. Francis Monastery, where this Treaty was signed, in a joint organization of the Municipality of Zadar, Basic School “Islands of Zadar” and the Monasteries of St. Francis and St. Mary, of Zadar.
After the entry of the “Peace Flag” and the greetings of the organizers, people had the opportunity to attend a musical and traditional dances performance by students of the city schools and the release of balloons with messages of peace. A visit to the sacristy where the Peace Treaty was signed and the Museum of the Monastery of St. Francis completed the Commemoration Program of the Signing of a Treaty 659 years ago.
