From October 12th to 16th, 13 youthworkers and leaders from youth institutions in 5 European countries (Slovakia, Portugal, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Poland) participated in “TRAININGCOURSE4PEACE 2026” in the city of Trencin, Slovakia.
During these 5 days, the participants of this international mobility event discussed topics such as Culture of Peace, Human Rights, European Citizenship, and Youth Participation in democratic life, and presented the works they had done on the Contemporary History of their countries of origin and on the Peace Treaties signed in the places where they come from.
This international mobility event was preceded by online preparatory meetings, led by ENPP facilitators, and will be followed by post-mobility activities proposed by the participants and carried out in their places of origin, involving young people, municipalities, schools and youth organizations.
This international mobility event was hosted by the Civic Association “Trencin-European Town” and was funded by the ERASMUS+ program through the Portuguese National Agency “Juventude em Ação/Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade” and within the scope of the ERASMUS+ Accreditation of the European Network of Places of Peace (ENPP).
