Association for the promotion of Altransträdt Castle is a non-profit association working on the promotion of the castle where the important Peace Treaty known as “Peace of Altransträdt” signed on 24th September 1706.
Altranstädt is a small village with approx. 800 inhabitants and political a part of the city of Markranstädt (18 000 inhabitants). The City of Leipzig with 570,000 inhabitants is situated 15 km away from Altranstädt.
The restoration of the Altranstädt Castle, initiated by the Association for the Promotion of Altranstädt Castle e.V. started in 2003, in hope to create a cultural center for the surrounding municipalities.

Evoramonte Castle Friendship Association

LACE (Evoramonte Castle Friendship Association) was founded in the year 2000 through a public deed held in the Tower/Palace of Evoramonte with the aim of “civic, cultural and social intervention, using all legal means to afford the defence, the dynamization and the valorization of the architectonic, historical and cultural patrimony related with the Castle of Evoramonte”. To get it, it is allowed “to promote and make, inside and outside the Castle, debates, conferences, concerts, theatre and cinema performances, teaching and learning courses, shows or entertainment activities, parties, meetings, legal games, funds`gathereings, to render honour to someone and every activity that is conform to its objectives.”
LACE has been promoting a lot of activities and events since its foundation to accomplish its aims namely Musical Concerts, Imaginary Tour of Evoramonte, Commemorations of the Signature of Evoramonte Convention and the Street Crib of Evoramonte.
Hubertusburg Castle Friendship Association

The aim of the “Hubertusburg Castle Friendship Association“ is the sponsorship for the reconstruction, preservation and reactivation of the Castle Hubertusburg with all buildings und gardens belonging to the castle.
It was built in 4 periods from 1721 to 1753 and constructed by 4 different architects (Neumann, Pöppelmann, Knöffel and Schwartze). The castle-complex was intended to be one of the biggest and most extravagant palaces in Garmany and in Europe with a magnificent charisma of baroque art and culture, used as an hunting castle and the 2nd residence of The King August der Starke and his son Friedrich August III. He was not to live in his luxerious “home” for long, only 8 years.
“Hubertusburg Peace Talks” is one of the most important events organized by the Association every two years in which participated scientists, politicians, clergyman and other interested participants.
In 2010 the Association got the award of “Selected Place in the Land of Ideas” and in 2013 the European Medal from European People’s Party/European Parliament and the “Saxon Citizens’ Award 2013”.
Civil Parish of Alcáçovas

Alcáçovas is a Portuguese parish of the county of Viana do Alentejo with approximately 2200 inhabitants. Constituted only by the parish of the headquarters, had in 1801 about 1613 inhabitants, having been soothes county in 1258 and 1836. Alcáçovas was the scene of the signing of the treaty of the Alcáçovas-Toledo, in September 4th of 1479.
The parish council of Alcáçovas is an executive body, which is constituted by a president, a secretary and a treasurer. The members of the directorate are elected by the parish assembly from among its own members proposed by the president of the directorate.

Municipality of Kaynardzha

Kaynardzha Municipality is situated in Northeastern Bulgaria and is one of the seven municipalities in the region Silistra. It is a small municipality with an area of 314.96 square kilometers, bordering to several Bulgarian municipalities and a Romanian municipality on the land border between Bulgaria and Romania. Currently Kaynardzha is an agricultural municipality with a population of 5880 people and is situated on the geostrategic location, which nowadays serves as the cohesion and development of good cross-border relations with the neighboring Romanian municipalities.
The village Kaynardzha originated in ancient times, but the earliest written record about the village under the name “Kyuchuk Kaynardzha” is noticed in the Turkish tax records from 1583. During the years of the Ottoman Empire, v. Kaynardzha is one of the largest villages in Northeastern Bulgaria and Dobrogea (Dobrudzha) region. In 1774 this place had been crucial to the victory of Russia over the Ottoman Empire in the war 1768-1774.

Vasvár was built on the western border of Hungary, near an important commercial and military road, along which the central parts of the country were connected with Northern Italy. Thanks to its favourable location it became a county seat and urban settlement. the development of the town was brought to and end by the Turkish occupation, and never reganted its previous importance. In the 18-19th century the town was principally known for its pilgimage and religious institutions. by now it has become a small town of 5.000, as a district centre it has an important role in administration. In addition to the House of Peace, the town can pride itself of major historical monuments: the Dominican monastery and church, the reconstruction the Vasvár rampart protection the former Road of Soldiers. Many of its natural treasures are well known: Szentkút Forest Park (the pilgimage site), the area of Natura 2000 surrounding the town, just like the vast majority of forests and meadows. The 85 degree Celcius thermal water coming from 2500 meters that feeds the town’s spa and district heating is of crucial importance. The town is situated on an important route even today, the No. 8, the main international highway leading to Austria, which offers opportunities for the development of the town.
Municipality of Viana do Alentejo

Viana do Alentejo is a Portuguese village, in the District of Évora that belongs to the Alentejo region, to the sub-region of Central Alentejo and is subdivided into three parishes, Viana do Alentejo, Aguiar and Alcáçovas. It is the seat of a municipality with approximately 400 km² of area and with approximately 6000 inhabitants. The Municipal Council is the governing body of each of the Portuguese municipalities, responsible for the day-to-day management and planning of the Council’s direction. Regarding the Municipality of Viana do Alentejo, the Executive is constituted by the President and by 4 Councilors.
Coat of Arms: Composed by a shield with a lion accompanied laterally by two escutcheon, by the Cross of S. Jorge or by the Cross of the Order of Christ. The central shield is still accompanied up and down by a star formed by two triangles with six rays.

The Youth Forum Association is a Romanian NGO founded in 2006 by a group of young people who wanted to promote their rights and purposes as young citizens, in order to assume a more active role in the Romanian society.
Mission
Our association’s mission is to support the regional initiatives of community development by involving young people into the decision-making process, and also by offering them the necessary tools and knowledge so that they can become actively involved in solving the community’s problems.
One of the association’s roles is to increase the number of young people who want to become involved in the decision-making process and give them the opportunity to express themselves as a voice that is officially recognized by society and so, contributing to debating and solving their community’s problems. This way, we want to influence the decision-making process and the policies that affect our local community’s development.
Purposes
- Promoting European and democratic values and principles in the Romanian society.
- Promoting the involvement of youth in the decision-making process and in the community’s life in order to find solutions to certain problems.
- Developing young people’s civic identity and abilities so they can become actively and critically involved in the political processes that take place in a democratic state.
- Identifying groups of young people with aptitudes and democratic values, capable of engaging in political dialogs and formulating solutions to society’s problems.
Municipality of Alcañices

Alcañices is a small town in the province of Zamora, Spain. It is very close to the Portugal-Spain border, not far from the Portuguese town of Bragança.
On September 12, 1297 the Treaty of Alcañices was signed in Alcañices between Portugal and Castile. This treaty established the border between Portugal and Spain which is one of the oldest borders in Europe.
Municipality of Edirne

Edirne is a historic city and has kept its importance and value throughout history. It is known that Edirne was founded by Traklar, who emigrated from Central Asia in the early years and settled here. The city was rebuilt by Hadrianus II from the Roman emperors and got its name after Hadrianapolis. The Bulgarian Turks conquered the city in 914. It was later occupied by the Pechenek Turks in 1050 and 1078 and finally conquered by Sultan Murat I in 1361 and appointed throne (capital) of the Ottoman Empire. During these years Edirne spent the most glorious days in his history.
With 15840 inhabitants (2016), Edirne is the second largest city from Thrace after Istanbul.

The Municipality of Estremoz is located in the province of Alentejo, Portugal and covers an area of about 513 km2, with a population of approximately 15,000 inhabitants. The city of Estremoz, seat of the Municipality, is known as the “White City” and its houses are distinguished by the intense use of marble, one of the best known products in the region and world famous.
In terms of handicrafts, the ceramics and the so-called “Bonecos de Estremoz” stand out, classified by UNESCO in 2017 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The Municipality of Estremoz has numerous traces of human occupation since the dawn of humanity and is also known as the municipality of the 3 castles (Estremoz, Evoramonte and Veiros).
Municipality of Khotyn
Ukraine
Khotyn is a city located in the Chernivtsi District in southwest Ukraine. It has an area of 20.39 km² and its population in 2020 was estimated at 9,132 inhabitants.
Khotyn is located on the left bank of the River Dniester, it was first mentioned in 1310 as the residence of a Catholic bishop, being occupied in the first half of the 14th century by the Kingdom of Poland.
The Khotyn Fortress is its main monument, built after 1400 by the Moldovan ruler Alexander the Good with the help of Vytautas the Great of Lithuania. Reinforced during the 15th century, it then became the most important fortress on the northern border of medieval Moldavia.
