Peace projects
Ongoing projects
The Association European Network of Places of Peace (ENPP) is currently an entity accredited by the ERASMUS+ Program and, within the scope of this Accreditation, plans to carry out 2 international mobility projects per year, until 2027, one of these projects being dedicated to technicians who work with young people (Training Course) and the other dedicated to young people between 16 and 25 years old (Youth Exchange).
For the period 2024/2025, ENPP has already secured the ERASMUS+ investment allocated by the “Agência Nacional Juventude/Desporto” (Portugal) and is currently preparing the implementation of 2 projects: TRAINING COURSE 2024, YOUTH EXCHANGE 2025.
Following the policy already initiated in the period 2023/2024 to decentralize the implementation of these projects, the respective international mobility events, lasting 5 days (+ 2 for travel) will be held in 2 different European countries in places where there are active members of the Association. The first project is expected to be held in the city of Zadar (Croatia) and the second in the city of Wermsdorf (Germany).
TRAINING COURSE 2024 (Zadar, Croatia)
The Training Course 2024, activity inserted in ENPP ERASMUS+ Accreditation, will be held in the city of Zadar, in partnership with the local Municipality, a member of the Association since 2011.
The international mobility event of this activity will be held between 4th and 8th November 2024 with the participation of 18 technicians who work with young people from Municipalities, Non-profit Associations and Youth Organizations from 6 European countries: Portugal, Croatia, The Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria and Armenia.
During the months of September and October 2024, online preparatory meetings will be held with all participants by country groups (2 for each country group) which also have the participation of the ENPP Facilitators, who will direct and follow the activities to be carried out during the 5 days of the international mobility event in Zadar.
During this event, participants will debate topics such as Culture of Peace, Human Rights, Youth Participation in the Democratic Life of their countries and Europe and will better know the ENPP and the ERASMUS+ program.
