“Dark Sky Alqueva”(Portugal), the tourism project headed by Apolónia Rodrigues (also Coordinator of Places of Peace Route) was nominated for the World Travel Awards, known as the Oscars of Tourism, in the category of Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2018, together with attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona or the Coliseum in Rome.
